Nubia Z50 Ultra phone grosses over RMB 100 million in first hour

After launching sales of its new flagship device the Z50 Ultra on Mar. 14, Chinese phone brand Nubia announced on its official Weibo account that sales had surpassed RMB 100 million after just one hour. Priced at RMB 3,999 ($582) for the basic model (8GB RAM + 256GB ROM), the Z50 Ultra is a slightly more premium upgrade on the Z50, a budget gaming device launched late last year by the ZTE-owned phone maker. Like its predecessor, the Ultra is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and features LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 flash memory. It also comes with a 6.8-inch AMOLED full screen, larger than that of the Z50, with a resolution of 2,480 x 1,116 pixels, as well as a fourth-generation under-screen camera. Currently, it is only available in China. [IThome, in Chinese]
